This committee focuses on issues related to residential construction, renters, housing and homelessness. It maintains a working relationship with Los Angeles City Planning Department and the Mulholland Scenic Parkway Design Review Board.

My name is Paul Ramsey.
I have been involved in the Hollywood Hills West Neighborhood Council since its formation, and have been the Hollywood Knolls - Area One Chair the last four years.
I have lived in the general Hollywood Hills- Hollywood Area most of my life and I am fairly familiar with each of our neighborhood councils' nine areas. I was the Hollywood Knolls Commity Club President for six years and was deeply involved in both the Cahuenga Pass Coalition and the Hollywood Secession Movement.
One of my great concerns is our city's gravely deterriorating housing situation, work environment and qualtiy of life. In my everyday work as an architect, I see first hand how our city, and many other surrounding cities continue to push shortsighted, destructive polices that are significantly hurting our community,its residents and businesses. There has been absolutely no planning or thought as to how our community can and should grow over time.
With my degrees in Architecture and Urban Design, and involvement in the architecture field for over 30 years I know of many better solutions than those now being implemented. I only hope I can use my experience and knowledge to bring about a positive change for our community.
