Dear Friends,
It's a sad, sad day for Hollywood. Robert Nudelman, tireless advocate for Hollywood, has passed away at the young age of 52.

If you like many of the old buildings in Hollywood, you can thank Robert that many of them are still intact. Among other things, he fought to preserve the Cineramadome. He fought conversion of the El Capitan Theater into a multiplex (it's now one of the top grossing and most beautfiul theaters in the country). And recently, he fought against the developers who are plastering historic buildings like the Roosevelt Hotel and the Hollywood / Highland bank building with Supergraphics. And he fought for historical status for the Yamashiro property.
While no one can take his place, we can only hope that someone can follow in his footsteps. To learn more about Robert, visit
