Cheryl Holland.I was born in Montreal, Quebec. I attended University of New Hampshire as an undergraduate and then went on to law school at University of Miami. I practiced law in Miami for three years before moving to Los Angeles. I practiced in Los Angeles for twelve plus years, as a business litigator, with a sub-specialty in environmental law. I eventually became a law lecturer, traveling around the U.S. to various law schools. During that time, I also wrote a book on the art of business and legal writing. I have lived in Los Angeles for almost nineteen years, most of that time in Hollywood. My husband, Neal Avron, is a record producer, and I have two children, two and twelve years of age. I stopped practicing law about five years ago. Currently, I am a freelance writer for various small newspapers.
