Chairman/CEO, Corniche Travel Group
Anastasia Mann is the founder, Chairman and CEO of renowned West Hollywood, California-based Corniche Group, Inc. Corniche provides exclusive travel management, meeting and event planning services as well as tourism marketing to a vast array of corporate and individual clients. In addition it has a wholly-owned African safari division (her passion). For nineteen years, Corniche has served the needs of many celebrities and notable corporations including the Los Angeles Angels of Anaheim, Major League Baseball, the Los Angeles Dodgers, Pepperdine University, LA Center Studios, the Mighty Ducks, Virgin Entertainment Group, Herbalife and Children's Hospital, to name a few.
Her extensive professional organization experience includes serving as past chair of the Travel & Tourism Research Association International; past-president of Southern California chapter of HSMAI; founding member of MPI; founding chairman of the West Hollywood Visitor's and Convention Bureau and current chair of its Board of Governors,etc. She was the state of California's representative to the White House Conference on Tourism under the Clinton administration; the official tourism representative on the Trade Mission to Soviet Union (for President GHW Bush). Anastasia was a founding member of the California Travel and Tourism Commission and served two terms on the executive committee. Sheserved two termson the board of CalTIA; as well as on the Hollywood Arts Council Board of Governors, etc. She was honored as the namesake and first recipient of the Anastasia K. Mann Leadership Award presented by TTMA in 2002. In 2004 she was a keynote speaker at the International Conference on Peace through Tourism in Geneva and in 2005 the keynote speaker in Zambia. And at last count, Anastasia has traveled to 107 countries forbusiness andpleasure!
October, 2005, Anastasia appeared on the cover of Luxury Travel Advisor magazine which featured stories on both Corniche Travel and Anastasia's Africa. She has done over 600 interviews on the status of the travel industry on television, radio and has contributed articles to the New York Post, NYTimes, LA Times, In Style Magazine and many other print media.
Anastasia is active in our local community. She served as Area 5 chair for HHWNC in 2003-04.Since that time shehas served as President (currently in 3rd term). She is concerned aboutthe needs of our community and along with the HHWNCactive board, works with the LA City Council to better seve the needs of our area's stakeholders.
