SUMMARY:Transportation & Public Safety Meeting - Dockless Mobility (Scooters and Bicycles)
DESCRIPTION:Dockless electric scooters began appearing on the streets of LA in 2017. In December 2018\, LADOT launched the One Year Dockless On-Demand Personal Mobility Permit to better understand the implications of dockless technology on the city and its citizens. The foothills of the Hollywood Hills West Neighborhood now have an abundance of dockless scooters and they now reach all the way to Mulholland. For those looking to get some exercise in while engaged in dockless mobility\, there are also dockless bicycles\, which do not have appeared to reach Mulholland\, yet. Citywide\, dockless mobility trips have grown from just over 340\,000 in April to nearly 1\,150\,000 in September. \nJoin us at the Durant Branch Library on Thursday November 7 where Bird\, Lime\, Lift and Sherpa will provide brief presentations followed by a question and answer session.

SUMMARY:LAFD Hollywood Hills Evacuation Exercise and Resource Fair
DESCRIPTION:The exercise is based on a fire in the Los Feliz area.  Notify LA will be sending test drill notices to all Hollywood Hills residents (about 10am) to prepare their homes for a fire event\, take their go bag and evacuate the hills to attend a resource fair at: \nHollywood Presbyterian Church\, 1760 N. Gower Street – from 11am to 1pm. There is a parking lot next to the church. \nThis is a great opportunity to practice what you would do if you were required to evacuate in a real fire. Any questions or missing details can be answered at the resource fair.
