The applicant proposes the demolition of the existing church for a new mixed use development project¬†consisting of 410 multi family residential units and 10,000 square feet of retail-restaurant use w/ sale of alcoholic beverages.¬†The applicant is also requesting a General Plan Amendment, height and zone change from the current R3-1 to C4-2 and “Regional Center” designation outside the boundary of the Hollywood Redevelopment Project area.
Upon completion the site would include approximately 466,420 square feet of floor area within three (3) buildings ranging in height from six (6) to twenty six (26) stories with a maximum building height of 275 feet and 940 vehicle parking spaces and 461 bicycle spaces to be located within four (4) subterranean levels and up to three (3) above ground parking levels.
