HHWNC Board Positions Available

NOTICE: HHWNC has two board seats open.

Available Positions

1. OUTREACH CHAIR

This position handles the HHW social media postings and participates in all Outreach events. The Outreach Chair attends approximately ten board meetings a year and holds public committee meetings on top of or jointly with other committee chairs to encourage stakeholder participation.

2. BOARD SECRETARY

This is an officer position. The Secretary must be familiar with the workings of the NC system and handle the construction of all Board Meeting agendas with the president. Additionally, the Secretary takes minutes of meetings and produces minutes for board approval. This individual is also responsible for posting items on the website connected to public announcements, etc.

Training Requirements

Board Members are required to take trainings on public policies, ethics, and other relevant topics prior to becoming a voting member.

Qualifications

Candidates must be qualified stakeholders either:

  • Residing within the boundaries of Hollywood Hills West Neighborhood Council
  • Working within the boundaries of Hollywood Hills West Neighborhood Council
  • Own property within the boundaries of Hollywood Hills West Neighborhood Council
  • Having a substantial and verifiable commitment within the boundaries of Hollywood Hills West Neighborhood Council
